One object, many postures
Relay Table began as a study of how a single object could support different relaxed postures — working, resting, placing, interacting from low seating — through one transformable structure rather than several pieces.
Folded planes, a mechanical spine
Thin black folded sheets, a polished stainless spine, a ribbed mechanical sleeve and subtle red-orange silicone edges. Light floating planes contrast a heavier grounded base — a prototype-like, experimental character.
How it resolves
Upper plane as main surface, a slotted middle layer around the column, a rounded lower platform grounding the object — the mechanism exposed and read as sculpture, not hidden.
